Yield: Serves 6

Comments: 3/8/2011 - The web site claims prep time is 30 mins. I used 1 lb jumbo shrimp and it took 50 min to clean them Used 1 lb box of rotini instead of spaghetti, did not use hot chili sauce or butter
3/6/2013 - Used about ½ box of spaghetti with 2 tablespoons of powdered ginger and ½ tablespoon of hot sauce. Added thinly sliced mushrooms with the garlic. Also used 8 to 10 ounces of pre-shelled, de-veined frozen shrimp. Updated recipe to include pepper in the ingredients.
10/11/2014 - I forgot to add the broth when I added the shrimp. The sauce did not thicken. I also forgot hot sauce.
1/18/2016 - I substituted 1 teaspoon of Bufalo Salsa Chilpotle hot sauce for the hot chili sauce. The result was a little spicy, but good. I used one pound of bowties in place of the spaghetti; it completely filled the largest casserole dish we own and the shrimp seemed to be lost in the pasta.
5/30/2019 - I used 12-oz of frozen, peeled shrimp (31-40 count) and 1 1/2 cup of uncooked rotini. I substituted 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger for the chopped fresh ginger and I skipped the hot chili sauce.
1/25/2021 - I used 12-oz of frozen, peeled, and deveined shrimp and one cup of uncooked rotini. I substituted 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger for the chopped fresh ginger, and added sliced mushrooms with the garlic. I substituted a tablespoon of medium tomalito salsa for the hot chili sauce. It was quite tasty and a little juicy. Without any side dishes, we finished it in one meal.
