Comments: Can use sweet potatoes
10/1/2019 - I used two large potatoes that weighed about 1.5 pounds, and
used salt substitute in place of the real salt.
12/15/2021 - I used four medium yellow potatoes cut into pieces.
It still took 30 minutes or more, but they were good.
12/26/2021 - I used a little over 2 pounds of yellow potatoes,
with their skins on, cut into small pieces. They were tender shortly
after the water came to a full boil.
3/9/2024 - I used 3 medium Russet potatoes, not peeled but cut into small pieces.
I started with boiling water and they were tender in 30 minutes.
I used 4 tablespoons of butter.
