Name: Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

• 4 medium-sized potatoes
• 1/3 cup milk
• 3 tablespoons of butter
• 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

• Peel and boil potatoes for 20 to 40 min (cut into pieces to shorten time and start with boiling water).
• Mash with a fork and then attack with mixer (best done in the saucepan to avoid splatters).
• Add butter, salt, and milk.

Comments: Can use sweet potatoes
10/1/2019 - I used two large potatoes that weighed about 1.5 pounds, and used salt substitute in place of the real salt.
12/15/2021 - I used four medium yellow potatoes cut into pieces. It still took 30 minutes or more, but they were good.
12/26/2021 - I used a little over 2 pounds of yellow potatoes, with their skins on, cut into small pieces. They were tender shortly after the water came to a full boil.
