Name: Grilled Bratwurst

Ingredients:

• Bratwurst
• Italian Hoagie rolls
• Optional toppings: catsup, mustard, pickle relish, chopped onion, sauerkraut

Instructions:

• Light charcoal in grill and wait for it to turn white
• Add sausage to the middle of the grill
• Cook, turning links often, until the sausage is brown
• Move the sausage to the edge of the grill
• Continue cooking until the internal temperature is 160º F
• Serve on rolls
• Each diner adds the toppings of their choice

11/1/2025 - I grilled them in the middle of the grill for 6 minutes, and then turned them over for another 6 minutes. Then I moved them out to the edge of the grill and cooked them another 6 minutes. Served on Italian steak rolls with grilled broccoli, green salad, mustard, catsup, chopped onion, and sauerkraut. I toasted the rolls.
