Comments: 3/8/2018 - First attempt was a little dry. Paula Deen's recipe
includes halved cherry tomatoes. The original recipe has one part sour cream or
yogurt to three parts mayonnaise.
3/8/2018 - For the dressing, I used 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and 1/4 cup of yogurt,
a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar, and a tablespoon of sugar. The main ingredients
were as listed except I used 1/4 cup of sliced almonds, 1/2 cup of red onion, and
a tablespoon of imitation bacobits.
4/20/2021 - I used a full head of broccoli, which resulted in 4 3/4 cups.
Accordingly, I used 1 cup of sharp cheddar, 3/4 cups of dried cranberries, 1/2 cup
of chopped walnuts, and 3/4 cup diced red onion. For the dressing, I used
2/3 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, and 2 teaspoons sugar.
We have enough salad for 4 to 6 servinges.
