Name: Bratwurst In The Oven

Ingredients:

• Bratwurst

Instructions:

• Turn the broiler on to preheat the oven.
• Place brats on a broiling pan going across the grates.
• Set the broiling pan in the oven about seven to nine inches below the heating elements.
• Cook for 16 to 20 minutes total, turning the brats 90 degrees every four to five minutes so that it cooks evenly on both sides. The brat should change color to a golden brown hue when it is cooked.

Comments: 4/15/2013 - Did it.
10/21/2017 - The shelf was put on the 2nd level from the top. The brats were dark on all sides after 15 minutes.
5/24/2018 - The shelf was put on the 3rd level from the top, and the brats were nicely browned. I served them with a can of baked beans, roasted red potatoes, and tossed salad.
