Name: Beef Liver and Onions

12/15/2021 I used 1 pound of beef livers, 1 sweet onion, 1 cup of flour, a tablespoon of salt-substitute in the recipe. I soaked the liver in a bowl of cold water with a tablespoon of real salt while preparing the gravy and mashed potatoes. I used the electric skillet, starting with the setting at 350º but the onions were blackening so I reduced it to 300º. I cooked the liver quickly, perhaps a minute or slightly more a side. It was cooked through and still tender at the table.
