Name: Morinaga Tofu Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 package tofu
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 6 cups chopped vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, snow peas, red peppers, bean sprouts, etc.)
Instructions:
- Blend soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil until smooth
- Spray baking sheet with oil
- Place tofu in a single layer on the baking sheet
- Pour 1/2 of the sauce mix over the tofu
- Bake at 400° for 30 minutes
- Saute the onions in oil for 1 minute
- Add vegetables and remaining sauce mix
- Stir fry 5 minutes
- Add baked tofu and toss lightly
Yield: 6 to 8 servings
Comments: 2/5/2015 - I doubled the sesame oil; otherwise followed the recipe
exactly. It tasted OK. The baking sheet was difficult to clean; should have
put aluminum foil under the tofu.
