Portuguese Kale Soup

Ingredients:

						
1 cup chopped onion            3 pounds canned tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped carrots        3 cups kidney beans
1 pount chopped potatoes       1 pound chopped kale
1 tablespoon olive oil         1 pound sliced, cooked kielbasa
2 minced garlic cloves
2 quarts chicken or beef broth
Saute onions and carrots in oil and garlic. Add potatoes and broth. Simmer 20 minutes. Add tomatoes and kidney beans. Simmer 10 minutes. Add Kale and kielbasa. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
