Gail and I got married on April 27, 1974. We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren on April 27, 2024, at the Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, Maryland.

The Great Wolf Lodge is less than 60 miles from our home, but it was conveniently located for us. Its water park and the other activities ensured that the youngest would want to join us and would not be bored. The water park included a wave pool, a lazy river, a kids pool, and lots of slides. Outside of the water park, there were a ropes course, an arcade with brightly lit machines, mini bowling, mini golf, a maze, and an adventure game called MagiQuest. There was a large entrance hall where events from yoga in the morning until a dance party in the evening were held.

CJ came down from New York, bringing Morgan with her. Doug came with lisa and Abby. Abby brought a friend, Rhianna. Joseph was working and did not join us.

Our crew: Al, Gail, Doug, Abby, Rhi, Morgan, Cj, and Lisa. Morgan is enjoying the moving lights on the ceiling of the room.

This vacation was short, but we enjoyed ourselves.
